“0 Carbon emissions by 2020?”
On Wednesday,21 March, a group of our students : Ralfs Daņilins 10.B,Toms Tavares 10.B, Lauris Veļičko 10.C ,Anna Emīlija Ķikule 11.C, Maksis Gustavs Auziņš 11.C went on an experience-exchange trip to the Sigulda State Gymnasium, where they learnt about debates, their various styles and structures by watching a properly structured debate.st
The main topic of the debate was “0 Carbon emissions by 2020?” and that allowed room for many interesting facts and opinions since the topic is quite difficult and humanity is still very nascent in its efforts when it comes to fighting climate change.
The exchange project will be continued next school year when we will host the debate team from Sigulda, debating about the effects of global and regional climate change on sustainable development of society.
